What I'm asking for is the name for the Chinese forum in Mandarin using Chinese characters. The other non-English forums have the English form of their name (for example, 'Russian') and the native form of their name ('Русский'). Out of respect for Chinese speaking people, I would like to have the Chinese forum be named in Chinese like the other forums are named in their native language. So how do you say 'Chinese' in Chinese?

Is it 中文 or 中国话 or something else? The wikipedia page on Chinese languages is a little confusing.

"中文" is good enough for both traditional "Chinese" (繁體中文 used in Taiwan, Hongkong, ...) and simplfied "Chinese" (简体中文 used in Mainland China, Singapore, ...). So both are welcome!

While I went to Chinese forums, I got the following message:
"You do not have the required permissions to read topics within this forum".
What sould I do first?

I think that the forum permissions are fixed now. Can you try a test post?
