Collaborate your design ideas

I started a new wiki page in the Writing CFDG section under the title "Design ideas". My idea is of gathering the community's collective wisdom about designing cfdg.
What are the methods and/or approaches that you use while creating new designs? What are the most inspiring cfdg art-works and what did you learn from them? Please collaborate for the public ood

Good, for beginner-intermedate but where is a wiki for people who have no idea what is going on? For example, does the starshape title have any affect on the shape? This would be very helpful, since most of the post asking this question don't have replies.
oh and I forgot, was your christmas tree avatar made with context free?
just though I would ask.

a simple faq page might be helpful - there is a forum faq, but for some reason I don't remember a wiki faq about context free itself...
