Bugs, Issues, where?

Post by rndr4food »

Hey guys I am working my way through the new wiki and 2.0 beta. First off, great job on both. Where would you prefer bugs, issues and praises for both to be sent to or posted? :)

Hope all is well and keep up the great work,
Beau

Great idea Beau.

Why don't people reply here with bugs, issues, praise, etc. for 2.0beta.

First bug found in 2.0beta:

Chris discovered that saving PNG or JPEG files that have color and are wider than they are tall crashes Context Free for Windows if you ask for a cropped image. An updated installer has been uploaded.

Hi
sorry for the little thread hijacking.
My impression so far was that the
new site could be a little slower than the old
one?

Just wondered if I was the only one who
experienced this.

Only bad thing I've noticed about this site is that the tabs on the top are invisible in Firefox for Mac and Epiphany for Linux... CSS problem no doubt.

Do you mean the menu bar with the floating sub-menus at the top of the page? I'm looking at it right now with Firefox for Mac 1.5.0.2, it looks fine. What version of Firefox are you running?

I downloaded Firefox 1.0.8 and was able to see the problem. It is some sort of CSS inheritance bug in Firefox 1.0.8. I changed the CSS file to compensate. The Mozilla folks recommend that you upgrade to 1.5.0.2.

Yeah I probably will use an upgraded version to look at the site -- I keep this copy around so that I can browser check when I'm designing my own pages.
