Temp Files

Post by aritali »

Is there a way to use another hard drive when you render? I only have 20 or so gb's on my c: drive and a lot of my renderings come close to that limit. I have other hard drives with more space on them, is it possible to get cf to write the temp files to a different hard drive then it is installed on? I am rendering files that are around 10k px by 10k px and it sucks waking up in the morning seeing an out of memory error.

On Windows you need to set the TMP variable to a new temporary file directory before running ContextFree or ContextFreeCLI. On the Mac I have no idea how one redirects the temporary directory.
