SVG to cfdg?

I saw a feature request for importing from SVG, but I was wondering: has anyone taken a stab at this via scripting or some other means?
I'm just thinking it would be nice to say draw basic shapes in inkscape and use them in contextfree. I wouldn't mind if a converter rejected anything too complicated.
