Apply license to all uploads

Post by flembobs »

I'd like to set the license for all my uploads to:

Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International

I try to set this when I upload but often forget.

If there was an option to do this in bulk for all my existing uploads I'd appreciate it.

Thanks!

The old gallery had just this feature and I forgot to port it to the new gallery. But the feature is currently broken.

I'm about to pull the plug on the new gallery. I just can't figure out why the Python backend is losing coherence with the database. Google is no help. Many pythonistas have this exact issue but the fixes that work for them does nothing for me.

I'm giving the old gallery some overdue love. When it is ready I will close the new gallery and redirect to the old one.

OK, I switched over to the old gallery. Go to your My Uploads page. In the top, right corner is a link called 'Click here to change the license on all of your artwork.' Clicking that link will take you to a page that will do just that.

For a moment I read that the gallery will be gone, which shocked me. I love the
gallery! It keeps a glimpse into how creative others can be. :)

Then I read that the gallery will not be closed down, and I was relieved.
