Deterministic branching

Post by Adi »

Hi,

I'm not sure this is the right forum to ask, but say I want to draw a tree graph using an existing graph. I want to get CFDG's amazing graphics and randomness while using my graph as a branching reference.

For example, say I have a simple family tree. I'd like to use my tree for the structure.

Would this be possible to do?
Thanks,
Adi

You could write a Python script to turn one of your family trees into a cfdg file. I'm not sure how or what you would do with the randomness feature.

I'd like the randomness for the angles and size changes etc. for the fractal aesthetics, and my graph for the structure.
