Stopping when alpha is zero

Let the developers know what you think of the software and what can be done to either improve the CFDG language or the Context Free program.

Stopping when alpha is zero

Post by Zirgion »

There should be an option that enables stopping the render when alpha is zero.

I realize it isn't always a good idea to do it, but if it's left "off" as default, it shouldn't bug anyone.

It would be very useful for those of us who don't want everything to go smaller, but rather fade away. :)

Yes, that would be a very useful feature. I think there needs to be a way for a cfdg file to specify that it requires that mode to be enabled. The next version of Context Free will have global and local parameters, so we can include global parameters for the rendering engine.
