Gif export

Post by aqua_scummm »

I think it would be awesome if you could save files directly as gifs, since everything is in black and white. Also, it would be awesome if you could export an anigif and set how often a frame is added (such as a after the program breaks free from a function or recursive call, or every 3000 shapes added, or other points).

Just an idea.

The images aren't black-and-white, color is supported.

Also, you can write a wrapper-shell-script in unix to convert things into an animated GIF ('convert' will import .png's just fine, and just increment the N (nesting) parameter each time), though that isn't necessarily user-friendly enough for everybody.

Context Free/CFDG started out black and white. Then we added shades of gray. Color is a recent addition.

It seems that you can only export .png files at the moment, it would be cool to have the other basic file types such as .bmp and .jpg also. :)
